Summary

When Hamster brought Hedgehog home to see his new treasure, they had barely opened the door when Hamster toppled to the floor! "My gold!" he cried. "It's been stolen!" "Well then", declared. Hedgehog, "we shall have to investigate!" So off they go to catch the thief. They question Mouse and Ferret, Raven and Raccoon. All the suspects claim to be innocent, but clever Hedgehog finally figures out which one of them is guilty, for the culprit gives himself away. This simple whodunit, just challenging enough for very young mystery buffs, is an appealing story about the treasure to be found in sharing good fortune with friends.
