Summary
This gem of recollection and poetry was published by Academy Books, Rutland, Vermont in 1979. The book includes a touching account of a 25 year friendship between Orton and Frost, several extraordinary photographs of Frost including the haunting portrait of 1955 by Clara Sipprell, and a selection of poetry by Vest Orton incorporating the ideas of Robert Frost in Orton's own unique poetic voice.
Author Biography
Vrest Orton served in France during World War I, had a distinguished career in book and magazine publishing for twenty years, and then moved back to Vermont after Pentagon service following World War II to found The Vermont Country Store
