He is a professor of counseling, a therapist in private practice, and a frequent speaker and seminar leader. Dan is the author of <i>How</i> <i>Children Raise Parents </i>and<i> The Healing Path</i>, as well as <i>The Wounded Heart, Bold Love, and Intimate Allies. </i>He and his wife, Rebecca, are the parents of three children.
