Author Biography

Barbara Nicholson is a native of New Orleans. She has worked as a bartender at some of the most elegant restaurants in the city. She rides the streetcars to work and to play. She is passionate about portion sizes, wine lists, and her cats.Keith Nicholson has resided in New Orleans for over a decade, and rides the streetcars daily. He states that he has been ôfired from the finest of restaurants, and the lowliest of bars.ö He is passionate about restaurant service, guest etiquette, and streetcars.Keith and Barbara met as coworker-bartenders at a famous restaurant along the Canal Street streetcar line in 2000, and were married a month after Hurricane Katrina. They have coauthored several books about the restaurants and nightclubs of New Orleans. In addition, they've written a business etiquette course that they teach at various corporations.
