Summary

Richard Dawkins, the world famous author of The Selfish Gene, The God Delusion, and other bestselling books, has come to play a prominent role as a leading public intellectual. As well as an evolutionary biologist and writer, he is widely known for his passionate advocacy of science and as a champion of rationalism. Often regarded as controversial, never anything but forthright in his views, his formidable skills in debate stand barely second to his reputation for the scientific insights and literary style of his books.
