Author Biography
WRITER/EXPERT Chris Bickel has been an educator for more than 24 years in New Jersey. He is a former geography and U.S. history teacher and currently works as a supervisor of social studies. He is a National Geographic Certified Educator and has consulted with school districts around his state on best practice teaching strategies that help foster in students a deeper sense of stewardship and awe in the places we call home. He is the author of The Nest Seekers, an upper-elementary picture book on outdoor birding and human and environmental interaction.
