Summary

La Jill Hunt’s bestselling No More Drama is just as relevant now as it was when it was first released.

Veronica "Roni" Black has met her match. The hardcore, never fall in love, marriage is for suckers, is engaged to none other than the player of players, Tobias Sims, aka DJ Terror. Toby has found everything he wants in Roni and more. But just when Toby's ready to settle down and commit, one of his many lady "friends," Darla, is determined not to let anything—or anyone—come between their friendship, especially when Toby is the father of her child.

Will Ron learn to trust her man long enough to marry him? Will Toby realize that sometimes being "just a friend" can be fatal to a relationship, and will he finally stand up to his past? The drama continues, and so does the laughter in No More Drama...

Author Biography

Mobile, Alabama native author La Jill Hunt’s writing career started as a stress reliever while working as a bill collector for a telephone company. Then, boredom kicked in around age 30 and pushed her into writing for the purpose of entertaining her coworkers. This was her first step toward becoming a published author.

In 2003, La Jill tucked her pride, ignored her fears, and stepped out on faith. She allowed God to open a door that would walk her into an instant hit and Essence Bestseller, Drama Queen. La Jill was all too familiar with drama as her home life spiraled into an emotionally and physically abusive roller coaster. Searching for an outlet, she continued writing books and has released several novels such as Shoulda Woulda Coulda, Old Habits Die Hard, Too Close for Comfort, and many more.

La Jill took a 4-year hiatus and returned even stronger, releasing Midlife Crisis, Imitation of Wife, Private Property, and My Mama’s Drama, also co-writing The Family Business and The Black Hamptons books and television series with New York Times Bestselling Author Carl Weber. La Jill describes her novels as “Contemporary Women’s Fiction with an Urban flair. I am a Black woman, writing modern-day Black stories featuring Black Women and Black Love.”
