Author Biography
William C. Jeansonne is a recognized information systems specialty and Microsoft certified professional with more than 17 years of experience in microcomputer networks, computer-telephony, and the Internet. Shortly after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems management at the University of Maryland, he founded a systems integration firm. While president of the firm, he formed a merger with a telecommunications company, and led the process to become one of the first Microsoft Solution Providers in the U.S. During his five-year tenure at the firm, he also wrote numerous articles on information technology, elaborating on such issues as software piracy and Microsoft's development in the software business. In early 1997, Mr. Jeansonne founded the computer consulting firm SmallBiz Solutions. His company specializes in general computer consulting for small to medium-sized businesses. As a senior information systems consultant with the firm, Mr. Jeansonne provides technical consulting services with regard to networks, the Internet, and electronic commerce. Mr. Jeansonne recently completed writing for IDG books Worldwide the book Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server Bible, a 650-page technical guide to installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BackOffice Small Business Server. Prior to that Mr. Jeansonne has written the best-selling certification guide Career Microsoft!, the predecessor to Microsoft Certification Careers: Earn More Money. David Janssen, MCSE, MCT, founded ExcelNet, Ltd., which became one of Canada's largest technology training centers. He currently runs an online training company as well as Cramsession.com, a Web site for IT Certified Perfessionals.
