Summary
Bindi is going to Borneo to film a feature length documentary on orangutan rehabilitation. When she gets there, she gets to meet the star of the film, Merah, who is the most adorable orangutan ever. But when a tropical storm hits the island, Merah escapes from the rehabilitation centre. He's a domesticated ape, and everyone's worried about his chances of survival in the wild. The film crew must track him down first before the poachers find him!
Author Biography
Bindi Irwin is the inspiration and cocreator of the Bindi Wildlife Adventures series. As the daughter of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, she has been involved with caring for wildlife and promoting conservation since she was little, and has hosted the Emmy award-winning TV program Bindi: The Jungle Girl.
