They explore whether these beings are generated by our minds or if they exist independently of the DMT trip. In addition to personal experiences and collected trip reports from drug forums like Erowid and DMT Nexus, the authors also look at studies from Johns Hopkins University and Imperial College London as well as the extensive DMT research of Dr. Rick Strassman.
