JoAnne Robbins, PhD (Madison, WI), is founder of the University of Wisconsin's clinical Swallowing Service. Paula A. Sullivan, MS, CCC-SLP (Madison, WI), is a speech pathologist who specializes in swallowing rehabilitation.

Author Biography

Donna L. Weihofen, R.D., M.S., is a nutritionist and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics JoAnne Robbins, PH.D., CCC-SLP, is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, where she began the clinical Swallowing Service. Her research on the effects of aging and age-related diseases on swallowing has been supported by federal funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Veterans Affairs Paula A. Sullivan, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech pathologist who specializes in swallowing rehabilitation at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital. She is also a clinical instructor in the Division of Otolaryngology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital Medical School
