Mark Deweer, a Flemish carpet manufacturer and gallerist, invited a number of reputed artists from Belgium and abroad to design a tapestry. The result of this is Art of the Loom, a unique collection of exclusive carpets manufactured in Belgium and designed by outstanding international contemporary artists such as Stephan Balkenhol, Sergey Bratkov, Tony Cragg, Jan De Cock, Stefaan Dheedene, Jan Fabre, Günther Förg, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov, Thomas Lange, Matthieu Laurette, Josef Felix Müller, Panamarenko, Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven and Koen Vanmechelen.
