Author Biography
SUSAN TOBY EVANS is professor of Anthropology at Pennsylvania State University. Her major research interest is Aztec culture, and she has surveyed Aztec settlement systems and excavated the site of Cihuatecpan in the Teotihuacan Valley, Mexico. She is the author of Ancient Mexico and Central America: Archaeology and Culture History (2008), winner of the Society for American Archaeology's Book Award.
