Anne Michaels is the author of several books of poetry, of the multi-award-winning novel Fugitive Pieces, which was made into a feature film and won the Orange Prize for Fiction and the Guardian Fiction Prize and The Winter Vault, her celebrated second novel. Emma Block is the author and illustrator of Tea and Cake and has illustrated several books for children.
